You know that it is profitable to sell newspapers or books about current, interesting events, ideas. If something is popular you can be sure that there would be people willing to pay for this. That is why you can find, for example, more than one book dedicated to a given subject. But do you know what is even more profitable? Releasing the same thing divided into smaller parts and making series out of a given book, story, etc. Why? Because people who would read the first part of the book, will like to read another one for sure (if it is good obviously) so they will pay for it. This form of publishing might bring you a lot of money. Very often the publisher also increases the price of the next episodes of series. It might be unethical but it is profitable for sure. I have recently seen a perfect example of such publication. I am talking about theory test series. It is an educational newspaper helping people with passing theory test. Not only it contains sample questions but also explanations of complicated ones, interviews with instructors, etc. It might be interesting for some people but I have to admit that it is quite expensive. To each edition there is also a CD attached.
