Gold bullion bars in the cupboard

When I was a little child, we used to live in a huge house together with my grandparents and some aunts and uncles. The family was really huge and there were always several people in the house. There was also aunt Heather who was a very enigmatic person. She didn"t spent much time with the family and the door to her room was always closed. I was a very curious child. One day, I entered my aunt"s room without permission. She was not there. I stared looking around. The room was quite messy. Several books were lying on the floor and some furniture items were open. I opened a cupboard. What I saw inside were two big gold bullion bars. I was really impressed. Our family was quite poor and we always had difficulties making ends meet. I was just a four-year-old kid so I didn"t think about the situation much. I turned away and left the room. Nobody ever noticed I was there on my own. Two weeks later, something really sad happened. My aunt disappeared. My grandpa called the police but my parents went on talking about a man I had never heard of. The man was probably my aunt"s boyfriend and my parents thought she had left the country with him, without telling anyone. I never mentioned the gold bullion bars. Perhaps my aunt had sold them because she needed money? At least that"s what I think today.
